something i needed/wanted to hear

My life changing surgery is here, in 2 days everything I know about the past 29 years will change forever. The way I think, look and talk about food will HAVE to change. I was checking my email this morning before I headed to the picture people and I got an email from my mom and this is a part of what she said to me and it brought me to tears

I know you are getting nervous about Wednesday but I am confident that you have made the right decision. I'll call you Tuesday night after I come home from class

I was waiting to hear that from her. Not that she wasn't being supportive but my parents never really voiced their opinion one way or another. I'm not sure if I can explain how it made me feel but it just made me feel really really good!
